Welcome to The Knowehead Farm Stud Website, which we hope will give you an insight into both ourselves and more importantly, our Stallions and facilities.

Our farm is set near Harthill, North Lanarkshire and is home to our outcross Registered Irish Draught Stallion Grove Warrior.

Knowehead Farm Stud has been run by Anne Beattie since 1985 and has become a recognized stud for breeding competition stock registered with the Irish Draught Horse Society (GB).

Our goal is to continue to breed Irish Draught horses from all types of mares, who will have the conformational ability and temperament to excel in any discipline and also help to preserve the rare Irish Draught horse.

We also have a limited amount of frozen semen from Foxglen Finn Rid Chestnut 16.1hh Sire: Finbarr Dam: Sally.
